After the bar closed, we went outside to have a smoke when two girls approached us for a cig. After chatting them up for about five minutes, my friend asked one of them if she wanted to go back and abar with us. She was down. Her friend, who I had been flirting with a bit, seemed a little drunk. WHen I asked her to come abar, she smiled at me and held eye contact for probably five or six seconds. She did not actual say a word but instead turned around. During eye contact, I was staring at her waiting for an answer, looking neither happy nor angry, just kinda neutral with maybe a small hint of a smile. We ended up just taking a cab back because the girls kinda just walked off. Any idea what happened?
Extra info-one of the girls was visiting from out of town, the girl I was going after lived a block away.

This happens a lot myself too! I hate it!

also should i have been smiling more or was that fine?

A relaxed look right into her eyes is actually even better than smiling back at her in that situation.
