So... I ask a girl out who was flirting with me on Wednesday in the shop I work in and she agree's, we are currently texting, and I am fairly confident in my text game.
Then... Friday comes around and the HB who works next door [who i've been meaning to ask out for a month but have been crippled by AA] walks by me to her shop on her own. I finally go talk to her. It goes.
Me: Hey, you alrite. Can I ask you a quick question? I've been meaning to ask for about a month
Her: Sure
Me: Are you seeing anyone at the moment?
Her: No [smiles]
*she then bends down to open her shops shutters, staying crouched, which makes it kinda awkward*
Me: Do you go out often?
Her: Sometimes
Me: Maybe I can text you sometime and we can grab a coffee or a drink?
Her: Maybe.
'Maybe'? I didn't know what to say. I'm also not sure if she is shy, or was totally dis-interested. [I wouldn't particularly consider her out of my league]
A while later I realised I didn't ask her name, which didn't build any comfort. So I went into her shop after work, she saw me, but they were just about to close so she was very busy, and then she vanished. I left.
Leaving was obviously a bad move, but staying around and playing the stalker was a lot worse IMO.
I'm not sure if she wants to be pursued [it can be very difficult to tell when she is in her shop without going in. its a womens clothes shop so I have absolutely no camoflauge in there] or if she isn't interested and just isn't the type to actually tell someone that.
Need some advice. Have had an early case of oneitis for this girl for a while.
