I feel like opening a girl to date and opening a girl to model would be very similar but I have difficulty in opening with the purpose of asking her to model for me especially since I'm a nude photographer. I'm don''t have a solid studio so it makes me insecure to ask actual models into my home to take nude pictures since i assume that they're used to a more professional setting. Often I try asking friends but it's difficult for me to not come off as awkward or just creepy. Any advice on how to approach a situation like this? It's not like i'm not a legitimate photographer. I have a website and I do probably 2 art shows or more a month. So this should be normal for me and I just can't brush this anxiety.

As a matter of fact, I have a friend that's a photographer and he doesn't invite the girls for a shooting, just drops it into the convo that he's a pro and barely compliments them along the line of "You have an interesting face/attitude, with the right make-up and lights you would look stunning on film" and the girls come up and ask him if he would be willing to takee their pictures... He is no big name or anything, but has the attitude and lingo... you could try that... Good luck!
