The situation of getting back with one of my ex-gf's has come up again and I'm wondering if I should resurrect my old Ex-GF opener.

I dropped it before because it was an opener that didn't close enough for my liking. Although, since I'm in another area now, it might be worth testing a bit more.

Anyone use something similar?

Here is a version of the opener:

You: "Hey guys, I've got a problem you might be able to help me out with real quick. See, my ex, who lives in NYC, just got a hold of me earlier today and wants me to move to the city to get back together. Which, it would be cool to live in NYC and get pampered, but I'm not sure that I should..."

Usually at this point you have one girl who is pro-move and the rest ask more questions. Most of the questions revolve around why we broke up in the first place or why I wouldn't jump at the chance to be taken care of and live in a great city.

You: "Well, it would be great...at first, but before she would get jealous really easily. And she bought me stuff all the time, but after a while she started acting like I was just another one of her possessions. Anyway, I want to test her to see if she's changed before I jump into anything. Better safe then sorry, right."

Then you use your phone to take pictures with them to send to your ex showing her the good time you're having with your new "friends".

Most of the time I wouldn't even wait to see if she got back to me. Sometimes I'd just save them in the phone to send later. I'd talk with them for a while then before one of us left I'd number close the girl I was most interested in with:

"Hey, let me get your number and I'll let you know how it turns out."
