So I started going out again just recently on a Saturday night; and each time I've been out a girl has either approached me or given me plenty of attention. I don't know what to do! I am literally useless, I've never had a gf.. I'm not all that confident and I'm really shy.

Just on the weekend this girl and her friend were literally dancing on top of me, bumping into me, constantly looking at me.. and I didn't do anything! It went on for a couple of hours, she went away and even came back. She basically danced in front of me for like an hour, and she backed into me enough that I could have put my arms around her. I actually had to move backwards to give her room.

At the end of the night I moved closer to her and danced a bit, and her friend started smiling at her, and then she kind of moved away. What was I supposed to do there? Was she testing me? After that I just kept dancing and she left. Something similar happened a few weeks back as well, and again I had no idea what to do. I can dance, but I don't feel confident dancing with her, or at her.

Yeah, she was testing you. She was seeing if she can dominate you and get you to be one of her "orbiters" - the chumps she strings along to get favors out of them.

Next time, dance with her for a few minutes, then wander off and talk to some other women. Don't go all puppy dog on her and follow her around all night. Let her know that she can't dominate you by making herself the center of your universe.

I'll definitely keep that in mind. I would have probably followed her around like a puppy dog if it had gone further. Some dude did try to hook into her in front of me and she palmed him away and kept showing interest in me.
