Howdy gents,

So I am constantly being introduced to new ladies (by friends, family, whatever) and I always seem to be at a loss for something interesting/funny to say after the "Hi my name is ___, nice to meet you".

Anyone have any good followup lines?

You're in a very fortunate situation to have so many opportunities given to you to meet new women. Most guys would kill to have women delivered to them! Up until this point, however, you haven't taken advantage of the situation. Luckily that can be taken care of but the solution is not using canned lines.

We can feed you lines all day but what happens when the woman you've just met starts to become interested in you? Conversations are dynamic and can be unpredictable. That's what makes them fun, isn't it? Present yourself as an interesting person. Always avoid the typical "Where do you work?" "What do you do for fun?" questions early on in an interaction. Women hear those all of the time. You need to be different. You need to come across as someone unique and interesting. Only then will she want to hang around for longer to get to know you.

If the woman is gorgeous (8.5/9) then you need to neg her early on. Make sure it is a soft and playful one, such as taking her hand up to your lips and right as you're about to kiss it, kiss your own instead (funny). Or tell her that her dress is beautiful and immediately counter the compliment with "I saw two other girls earlier tonight wearing the same one," (soft). Beautiful women always need to be negged early on.

Since you're new to this, you should read up on the use of routines and cute games you can play with a target early on in the interaction. They are great crutches for someone new to the game and women eat them up like candy. Be funny and banter with her. Cocky funny can work too.

You: "You are definitely the second most beautiful person at this party."
Her: "Oh yeah, who is the first?"
You: Outstretched hands and big smile, "Come on, it's obviousssss."

Don't treat her like she's a prize or something special. After all, you are the prize. Ah, I've gotta cut the post short but feel free to ask more questions and I'll get back to you.
