Sounds allright for the first part but if you panic in the end wouldn´t she wonder why you aren´t rushing off to shop? Seems like an extreme false timecon.

i did something similar, i usee it to turn the situation into an instant date because you need help to find something, maybe she can help you (possible when in a department store or mall or something, usually u want to try it when you acctually have to get a gift for someone (aunt, mother, sister, neice, grandmother, great grandmother etc.)
