I feel like I've read something on this before, but it recently happened to me and making real-time decisions, I had no idea what to do.

What do you do when you approach a girl, and you're in the middle of opening and she gets a phone call? It kills all momentum you had. How would you get back into it after she gets off the phone?

When this happened to me recently, I was lucky that she was with her friend, so I just started talking to the friend one on one and DHVing, so that the girl on her phone could overhear all the things I was speaking of, but I really don't know what I would've done had it been just her and I.

I'll take a line from David D. for this one. "Tell them you'll call them back, I'm far more interesting!"

You responded correctly by ignoring her and talking to the obstacles in the larger group situation. Since you're in A2 there is no need to show her any interest that you care if she's on her phone yet. You can neg her about it, saying "You can't take her anywhere."

Whatever you do, do not wait untill she's off the phone, and then go back to that same thread. It'll show that you're eager to tell her that story or routine or whatever you're doing, and in a sence qualifying yourself to her. Just drop it and start something new.
