I've kinda created an opener this week base on the following:

I've started training in a gym this week, which has Muay Thai and Yoga.

I plan to attend both classes. I remember months ago reading the suggestion on the lifestyle part of the board that it's cool to make this "one violent\one sweet" couple of activities (Muay Thay\Yoga).

So, based on that, the opener is:

Hi girls, I need an opinion here.
My friend and I, we fight Muay Thai. SO I told him we should attend some Yoga classes too, because Muay Thay is too rough, and the Yoga would add some balance to our body/spirit. (some blah blah like this).
He said that no way he'd do Yoga, cause he think it's gay. Do you guys think that it's gay for a man to do Yoga?

It's a good opener.
But if I were you I'll change some details.

You are giving too much information in a sentence.
This can be bad, 'cause the girl will need to keep the attention you during a bigger time than necessary. As you don't know the girl, the possibility to be broken during your opener is bigger than the usual.

I think that is better you summarize your opener.
Some like:
"Hy ladies. I need an opinion of an intelligent woman. My friend is boring saying that Yoga is a gay sport. Do you agree with him ?"

Analyzing the sentence.
Why "Ladies" and not "Girls". Lady is not so usual as girl. Don't be usual, specialize your speech, be different. Girls are not looking for men like others. So every single detail is a point to you.

"I need an opinion of an smart woman", This way you 'force' the girls answer you. 'Cause if he doesn't, will be implicit that he is not smart.

"My friend is boring saying that Yoga is a gay sport. Do you agree with him ?". At this time, you can say do any kind of question.

Now, you can use the information that you fight muay thai and others things, to continue the conversation.
You don't need to spend all your coins in just on sentence.
