I love food and cooking for myself so I love grocery store. Going there nearly everyday so I've tried searching for lots of openers but they usually have some sticking points. Luckily I came up with a new opener (now I really make it up so if it's been invented by anybody please don't sue me for this)

- Open a girl by an opinion opener (OTS, FTC blala): "I have a female friend coming over from XYZ (be whatever country you want), she wants me to cook her some really good local dishes, what do you think the best one would be?"

I found this opener gives you likes millions of opportunities to move on, DHV right off the bat, negs, DHV spikes, qualify her... with some calibration

The opener works best if:
- Just make sure you can associate a real friend with your made up "female friend". Real tastes, characteristics, hobbies... make it much more natural than make the whole thing up
- You have visited the country XYZ, leaving some room for comparing food and culture between your home country and XYZ, I chose Europe since I've been there and know and have a lot of things to talk about it.
- Tons of room for DHV, try to come up with DHV stories about how you know the girl, how she treated and cooked for you so well back in XYZ so you want to return the favor, how you two hanged out in the past. Associate them with each kind of food or flavor so you never goes blank (well if you're into PUA you know what I'm talking about)
- Remember to wait for her comment and listening to her advice!
- If you don't want to spend lots of money on the cart, say you have a lot of stuff at home. Emergency exit? Say I'm in a hurry I'll get back here to buy those stuff, you're so cool how about we exchange number, I certainly will need your help for those recipes. But please don't text and call her about it, if she asks, just say it's been great and move on to your topics of choice. What I found out is that early on I have little to talk about so I keep talking about my "female friend" and the meal and the food, conversations dry out completely and it's really hard to recover. Girls seem enthusiastic when asked to give advice but get bored when being told about stuff going on in your life!

I live in Vietnam so I always game one of the most conservative kind of girls in the world (no sex until marriage ideology). Feel free to calibrate and throw in your wild Western stuff haha

If you can act, have a fake conversation on the phone like talking to your female friend in a foreign language like asking her what she wants and turn around with a confused look like your friend just says "whatever you wanna cook for me". It works wonder! I speak a good English so it's a huge DHV for me since rarely a Vietnamese speak that level of English in public places. For US I think French or German would work?
