| A question to all of the Pimpologists, feel free to voice your opinion
A little background info:
I'd like to shack up with this girl at work, I work in the trades and in my particular case based on skill level you get put into certain buildings (shops)
I'm always working on the big stuff and she's out in another shop doing other things. So this kind of ruins the working together opportunity to build something, I don't know the terms used here.
We talk when situation arises, catch her looking, little joke now and then (she works in a male dominated industry, so this could be normal)and I sneak over to that shop for a talk the rare occasion when I can sneak away, I usually get busted so I can't do it often.
Anyway, this girl is cute, not smoking hot but I think I like the fact she does my work. I'm not head over heels for her or anything by any means
So that's the background,
Considering we don't get time to talk much at work and she's been there longer then me and knows people better.... I wanna work my way in kind of unknowingly, a little sly. My work is not permanent here but I don't want to make it awkward.
So, I was thinking about trying to bring to a txt game, if all works well. Txting will lead to more work talk etc etc
But how do I achieve this txting but making it look natural... Hmmm, this is where my question comes in
I got an idea and here it is, feel free all you Pimpologists to voice your opinion... I got about 12 days to decide if I'm gonna pull the trigger...
Ok, so Christmas is fast approaching as you all know. I leave the city go home and get sh!tfaced for 10 days off.... I was thinking, I'd randomly msg her on Facebook, yes... Facebook, I know, I know.... A day or 2 after Xmas day, Something along these lines...
"hey how's it going, it's ----- from work(my Facebook name is my nickname that no one from work knows) Been a rough few days, I was just looking around to see who I could find from work... How's your days off going so far?"
Bam! So the bait is throw out there, let's say a conversation unfolds, here's my yank on the line to set the hook....
(depending on time of day)
" well good talking, I got to (1. Get ready and head to a BBQ (or meet up with the friends or get to the liquor store or (2. get some sleep, long day tomorrow)...........
Now what, leave it, see if I can get a crackbook conversation on the go again? Or....,
The above with this at the end...
"you should txt, it's faster" now leave it here? Wait for response to judge the situation or give my # first, read below
Ok, that's my idea, I thought it seemed pretty neutral way of bringing it to txting...
1. I may have to msg other people from work to see how their Xmas is going, to make it seem legit if it fails
2. If i give my number first, I know sad,,, I won't be checking the phone, I'm going to be far to drunk to bother and I don't care that much, if she txts then she txts.... But I kinda like the not giving number first tho
And 3, if it dosnt pan out, seems like something someone without an agenda would do so it shouldn't be weird at work after Xmas.
So yeah... I'm calling on all the Pimpologists here,,,, thanks for reading and feel free to post your critiques
