I was just thinking about this, wanted to get some opinions on it.

Say you're with a bunch of friends, you see some girls you want to open. So you walk up to them and are like "hey guys, im not gonna lie, I had no intention of meeting girls tonight... but all my friends over there <point> were talking about you, but none of them would come talk to you!!! so I decided to come over here and see what all the fuss was about."

It could come off as slightly AFCish I guess, but, it also shows that not only were you not interested in meeting women that night, but also that you were the only one out of the group to have the balls to approach, and also that you're the leader of the group. Plus there's kind of that little neg at the end about seeing what all the fuss was about (as if you didn't notice how attractive they were)

Well you are Demonstrating Higher Value to the group by showing your Leader of Men quality. You are also DHVing by showing them you don't need their approval by saying "To see what all the fuss was about." I agree it's a little AFC but I could see a natural saying something like that. Really, I would expect it to work. Regardless of what the forum posts here I would use it in the field, that's the true test!

anyways it forces them to qualify themselves to you their worried about what you may tell your friends
as long as you say it with a confident interested attitude they will respond as hoped
