Does anyone know of any good comedians, especially ones that I can apply the jokes to opening? I consider myself a funny guy, but I'm trying to learn to be more creative with my humor and will use the cds as tools.

depends on what type of comedy you like

for intellectual stuff i like george carlin, he is a word nut
or sometimes i like dennis miller, or bill cosby.

for the racy raunchy stuff, i like eddie murphy, martin lawrence, richard pryor, redd fox, damon wayans, jamie foxx, dave chappelle, rodney dangerfield, sam kinison

slapstick stuff like the marx bros, the three stooges,


sinbad is cool, all of his material as far as i know is clean, as is bill cosby.

I know tha tin Canada and probably the States too, if you drop a Russel PEters joke, or Dane cook you can normally get a good laugh, and the girls normally know what your talking about so its an easy convo starter... Also Borat gets a good laugh, but your Kazahkistan accent etter be somewhat up to par lol


I have not field tested these persay, but I have used them on girls I dont know at work and it started upa great convo, not only that they think ur funny too

I'll have to search for some of them, i was really looking for the delivery of the jokes not so much the material. Thanks guys.

Keep in mind that jokes and funny stuff isn't always about what is said, it's about how it's presented. Check out Katt Williams, Dane Cook, Pablo Francisco, and Chris Tucker. They emphasize tonality and facial expressions.
Francisco and Tucker especially.
