I think many of us agree that one thing that makes a woman stand out is if she is wearing something that gets out juices flowing and that in itself can be reason enough to want to approach a girl, but what is a good way to approach a girl wearing something that just happens to "give you the horn" and mention it to her (not necessarily that it's giving you the horn LOL, but just that you like what she is wearing, she deserves a compliment and all) but without creeping her out or making yourself look awkward and weird?
E.g. I do have a fetish for leather and shiny clothes (and so do many other people, I am sure!) and especially in these colder months of the year I do get to see more and more leather biker jackets, leather skirts and leather pants (or leather leggings and imitation leather) on girls and would love to give a compliment but again, how? Easier said than done sometimes!! :D

Just be up front and direct. As long as you are paying a sincere compliment you can certainly use that and there is nothing wrong with it. I've definitely gone up to women and said things like, "I know this is totally random but I spotted you from across the room and I had to come tell you that jacket really looks good on you figure, the holy shiney leather thing is perfect for your complextion...." or whatever the case is.

As long as you are sincere and honest with your compliment it goes well. Don't just say Nice shoes or Nice jacket actually put some thought into the compliment. How does it maker her look better. When complimenting clothing be cautious I've had girls ask if I was gay since they thought I knew fashion... it's not a problem but something to be ready for.

"Across the room"? What? :? :?: Sorry, I don't see how that can make sense to the situation I'd be in.

Seriously... Don't take people so literally. Modify the opener so it would be as you would say it for the siuation you are in. If across the room doesn't work then "I just spotted you and had to come tell you...." or whatever works for you man.

Absolutely, but you wonder if the girl in question is wearing shiny leggings or skirts and how to tailor the opener so I don't come across as a horny pervert upon first glance! Really need some advice, please on body language and how to control myself and those urges, man!!

On numerous occasions I have seen some leather wearing girls around town yet I have still been to s***-scared to go up to them and stop them and make a compliment for fear of looking weird. Seriously, what is a good way to stop someone on the streets or any daytime venue and get their attention and get the compliment across.

Come in from the side, the least intimidating and threatening way to speak to a girl. Then you could say something like " can I be honest with you..." wait for her to say yes. " those leggings/ skirt looks amazing on you. I'm looking to buy my friend something like that for christmas where can i get them from?" There you have yourself an opener and DHV.

OK, point taken but what if she is walking in the opposite direction from you? Should I make a U-turn immediately after she walks past or just stop her and make the opener as soon as she is about to walk past me?

And maybe should I say something about wanting to buy something like that "for my girlfriend" just to lower the bitch shield and make her assume I am taken therefore not likely to try and hit on her et cetera.

If she is coming from the opposite direction, position yourself so you're standing to one side. Don't stand too close though, maybe like a couple of feet.

Yeah you could do that. As long as you come across friendly and genuine, she will be happy to talk to you.
