This is the cell phone opener that I invented.

Walking around the library and class, there are always girls I want to approach. I like liquid smooth approache, that don't come off as hitting on them.

Find a girl with her cell phone out on the desk. This is common in the library, in class, or anywhere in public.

1. Walk by, and look at the phone. As you're walking by ask her, "is that a HTC evo? (w/e phone it is). She'll say yes, then ask her how she likes the phone because you're considering getting one. She'll talk about the phone and stuff.

If you have the same phone, that is great. Ask her how she likes it then whip out yours and start talking about the features.

Talk about the features on your phone and tell her jokes about it. How it has all these apps but it took you 3 months to learn how to set the alarm clock. Or that it's awesome until the battery dies in 4 hrs.

2. Talk about the cameras on both of your phones, and then ask to see some pictures so you know the quality. After you've both load up your galleries, move closer to her as if you're just moving to get a better view at her phone. At this point you can playful comments on her pics

3. After I move closer, I show her a video of me at a party or out somewhere fun (DHV)

4.keep chatting about the phone, then transition to a story about the video or talk to her about her pics, this is a VERY smooth transition, and opens a good opportunity to multi-thread. If the vibe is good, Kino.

Alternative is to # close here and say you got to go (esp if she seems busy). It'll be a good time close especially if you just showed her a funny video on your phone.

I field tested this today at the library. It was very smooth, not awkward at all. I # closed after about a 5min talk about the phone and a few good laughs.

I notice people are very animated about phones and always have a lot to say when it comes to them.

This works even better if you come off as a techy/nerdy person because it seems legimate that you would be into smart phones.

I have tried that with laptops and it works great in coffee shops with wi fi. you can ask her what she uses it for and that might give you an idea what she does then you can talk about what you use yours for (if you're a doctor or a lawyer DHV). You can add her on FB right there and ask her if she has received the request.

That was the good one.The only problem is that 80% girls I 've seen here have iphone and Mac. I have iphone . So probably talking about laptop is better.
