Hey I think that the "Hey how have u been" approach could work good, but only under the circumstances that she does not ask you "sry I forgott, where do we know each other again?". Did someone here already tried it? What are your experiences? Did they asked you where u know each other from or did they just played like they remember u, even that u have never met before? If they asked u: What have you said to them then?

You think it could work ? Why didnt you try it ?

Honestly I can not see this working in the uk unless the girl is really into you in terms of looks. Trying it infront of her bf like he suggest would end in disaster I think

I just roll with it... "You don't remember me? We went sky diving at... Blah blah blah..." she's going to respond with "I'm sorry I think you have the wrong person." and i just continue with how ironic it is that she looks just like ms.so-and-so... I ask her if she has a sister and such and roll right into midgame...

I've been thinking about this one lately too. I get the impression results are dependent on the reaction you get from the non verbal stuff (such as raising your drink or waving to her from afar), regardless if you've approached like this its showing bags of confidence if nothing else, which acts as a DHV in my opinion. This is next on my list of things to try, I'll give some feedback on the UK response when I have some :)
