My biggest and probably my only problem when it comes to getting girls is all because I suck at approaching. Before I was a little lame on the conversations but I've always been a natural before and I think I'm out of that phase and now I shall spread my wings and fly because I'm tired of the no buns lifestyle. Just to clear this up I'm talking about approaching on public transit.

I need some advice from someone who's good at this. I can see myself catching eye contact, smiling, and walking over sitting next to them to have a conversation. My question is how does this work out since I usually stop at eye contact.

These girls have got to be interested the way how I'll check them out and they'll try to catch my glance. Sometimes I don't even have time to throw a smile before they look away since we end up staring each other down and it gets a lil awkward. Conversating with someone sitting next to you is a little weird too and god forbid I get rejected after moving myself cause I'll go hulk mode on a chick. How does I does it I need some help!

Some 'alpha' will come in here and say something about how AFC that sounds, but think about it this way... You're making an approach. You're opening and initiating conversation. AFC's don't do that. They do what you're doing now.

Have a conversation in your pocket, ready to go when you do sit down. You're on a bus/train, use something situational. "The old lady that I was sitting next to smelled like cookies. I had to come over here because I haven't eaten and it was killing me!" I just pulled that out of my ass, but think of something... Just make sure you talk people up, never down. If you do use that, it could set you up for something like, "Sitting here talking with you is awesome, but it made me miss my stop!" Get the digits, give her yours, whatever...

I notice a lot of people hating on simple approaches like "Hey, how's it going?" but I don't think what you say matters at all so much as how you are feeling and the feelings you convey. Everyone seems to act like there are "magic bullet" openers, but you can just say hi to people.
