Hey all. I have been using the drive thru regularly to cash my paychecks at the bank and they got a new girl at the teller. We've exchanged a few words and she recognizes me when I come through now. That's expected. I just want to see if there is any more interest than that.

I've been trying to figure out a way that isn't publicly putting her on the spot to ask her for her number, to go to coffee or whatever. My one thought was to wait until next time and slip a note in with my check that says: "Can I have your number? Check yes or no." I'm always hung up on stupid stuff like this when I'm not a third party. HELP!

dont do that hahah thats like 5th grade lmao. i got the same shit goin on with a bank teller.. where do you live!??? hahaa... but friday when i cash my check ima grow some balls n just ask her for her number, whats the worst that happens she says no

I say do it in a funny way.(btw build yourself a crazy personality,i have this naturally so i didn`t need to learn it)
Stick your head awkwardly out of the window and tell in a "player" voice (you know that funny don juan style voice,deep and seductive)
and say:
"Hey baby,you up for some of that sexy coffee?"
or "Hey baby,my friends call me Juan.From don Juan."
i always do this and it`s a nice ice breaker.Just do some crazy shit so it will attract her attention for long enough.Once you do this she`ll give you words to start a conversation
or even better she`ll play along

The truth is you want to find out more about her, you want to have a coffee with her, it's weird talking to her through a piece of glass. It would be a shame if that piece of glass kept you both apart forever. Which is why she should meet with you for coffee...so you can talk...without the glass. And when you make her laugh...you can actually here her without having to push the talk button. Come meet me at X after work...for 20 minutes. Coffee is on me.

Thanks all. I'm glad to hear everyone's opinions and advice. Definitely just over thinking.

Just a few other details to let you know how things are going:

Getting paid on Thursday, so I'll see her then, most likely. In any case, I've gone inside a few times, chatted her up, made her laugh. I'm thinking it shouldn't be too hard to get her to come grab a coffee with me. I'm awesome, after all. haha
