So there's this girl I see frequently at the university Library. She's short asian and seems like one of those nice girls. I've talked to her once before, but it was a short conversation during a lab and I was busy so I didn't have time to talk to her. Then had major AA after class (AFC fail.).
So, my problem is that whenever I see her in the library she has her head phones in watching videos about biology and such. I don't know how to approach her when she has her headphones in. Any of you guys have some tips?

Here's one way to approach her.

Go up and tap her on the shoulder while she's watching. She'll stop her video or turn to you and ask what's up. Say something like "hey, you're in my Bio 324 class" or w/e "do we have XXX homework due/ test coming up/ etc..." Find something common to talk to her with. Then just free flow from there. Remember to be fun and smile,

leave her with something like "I'll cya in class"

Next class arrive early and make sure you have a seat saved to yourself. When she comes in smile at her and wave. If she sits next to you, you're good to go. Refresh the convo with something you chatted about in the library and keep going strong. Remember, keep up the humor levels and make her laugh. Don't push for a hang out too fast. Remember you see her at least every week. Get her digits and just chat throughout the week then ask her to hang out after a little while. The rest is up to you.
