Known the girl a few years from the gym, hasn't been in for past several months due to arm related injury.

We've always gotten into long convos in the gym, and the convo where I actually asked for her number I did so under the premise "we should hangout some times...you know as friends" coming off nervous as hell. Anyway, a guy I know witnessing the interaction between said the girl was totally into me by her body language (giggling, kept moving her shin and hitting herself on part of machine she was leaning on while talking to me, touching my arm jokingly etc.).

Long story short, ended up getting her out for coffee once, about a month or so ago and it was pretty friendzone feeling - just catching up as we hadn't seen each other in a while. Ended an hour later. I texted her next day saying it was nice catching up with her again blah blah blah we should do it again soon. No reply...not until a week or so later and it was pretty trite.

ANYHOW that was a few months ago, i had pretty much given up on things until today. I texted her asking how her arm was cause I hadnt seen her in the gym in a while. Anyway rest of it goes like this:

Me: "so are you back in the gym benching 4 plates and slapping the gossip queens upside the head?"
Her: "Lol! Not quite yet. I've gone to the gym once or twice within the last few weeks, but the arm is not back to what it should be...plus im still goin to physio. So unfortunately the gym and I are still on a break"
Me: "OOh curse that arm of yours for making you miss out on all the gym drama" (we've discussed some of the nutjobs at the gym and shared a few laughs over it)

Anyway seems like path is cold. I'm trying to avoid asking questions, but perhaps that's not the thing to do as I'm tryin to re-establish rapport with someone I know. The coffee meeting we had being as short as it was, and her reply to my subsequent text, a WEEK later kind of indicated an IOD from her part.

Not sure if I should just leave this one alone, or if I should keep approaching her, how to go about doing so when all i have at this point with her is phone/texting as communication (she hasnt been at the gym in a long while).

Any ideas as to how I should go about this?

My one-itis senses are tingling.
She was probably only interested because you actually approached her, but you didn't get too much attraction from what i think i may be to able to decipher. I know many others will give the same but approach other girls/women/tranny/dogs. Whatever you're into.

No oneitis, I m kind of indifferent to her, just haven't created more oportunities for myself in the last few weeks

Eff her, not worth pursuing.
