She said that makes you sound like a Psycho, and i was shocked.
I thought most girls would find this quite attractive, I actually love kickboxing and its one of my passions though should i tell girls about it?
I was thinking of using this opener for when i go out this weekend:
"Hi, can i get your opinion on something? If i was to tell you i was kickboxer would you think im Psycho??"
And then feed of her reply.. With something like:
"Well its a good job im not a psycho then.."
I also read a good line on these forums somewhere where someone had used...
"Im a lover not a fighter, but also a good fighter so dont get any ideas. "
So im thinking of using this in there somewhere too?

It's a bad start. I think the problem with the kickboxer facebook approach probably had a bad delivery or she just wasn't interested. All females want an alpha male that can protect the pack. _________________ Nike - Just do it.

Kickboxing is a hyper masculine/masculine-dominated sport, being so overt about it to me at least is tantamount to a wealthy guy boasting about his wealth to attract a girl, and typically this is a complete turn off.
It's one thing being good at something, another thing entirely wearing it as your identity, and saying right off the bat you're a kickboxer sends off signals that you're trying to impress her.

I think its all about how its delivered? If its done discretely as in she brings it up, its ok then?
My friend is a world champion kickboxer and he goes on about it all the time and it never attracts girls so i totally understand.
Weird really...
