Is it bad to only approach girls, or should I approach everyone? I'm 18 but I look 16 and I feel intimidated talking to people who are in their 30s and up because I guess I don't feel like they will respond as well. So is it bad to approach people only in my age group or should I approach everyone in order to get good? thanks.

Its just more practice. You can still learn social skills from approaching guys. It also helps build social proof. I would also advise approaching older people just because you are intimidated. My rule is if it intimidates me I have to do it, that way I am always pushing myself out of my comfort zone.
