As far as I can tell you kinda did the whole thing a
tad unorthodox, yet you nailed the number close
so that counts for something. The only thing
i'm having doubts in is weather you DHV'd
to this girl before she gave you her
digits. I mean, what are the
chances that her god
father of all people
works at a bar
in a club?

I don't believe that.
The chick was probably a little adament about
giving her details out to a dude she just met
so she used her godfather as an
excuse for her giving you the
digits.
If you had built enough comfort,
broke some rapport, built
attraction then she
probably wouldn't
have even cared
if her
godfather was there cause
she likes you.

Here's a tip that will help you out regarding
number closing. Before you bounce, tell
the girl "Hey look I've got to go,
but listen, me and my friends
are going to a party
during the week/
(whenever) and
it would be
aswesome if you
would come along.
What's the best way of
staying in touch?" This way
you don't come off across as
needy and you're conveying to
her that you're going out during
the week with some friends and she's
been invited to come. Asking for a number
is an INSTANT switch in the girls head that says
"this guys trying to pick me up...another one..."
The general rule of pickup is that you must come
under the radar first. You don't want to come off
as another bloke asking for her number that
night, you're different from the rest. You
have friends and she's just another
person you've met there that
night! You then demonstrate
to her that you're not
picking her up
yet you're being
friendly and inviting her out.
Give that a try and see how it goes.
