Hi guys, asking for guidness about a neg I used on a girl (don't really know where in forum to place this topic, but I hope im right )

First I made a quite smart opener and we began to chat about nothing.. And I told her something like "please, take another cookie, (we were standing at a cookie-plate) its so fun, because you talk at the same time as you eat. (And this was sopposed to be a neg)

The hard part was that she took this quite hard and stopped talk to me and I had no courage to continue a chat.

So what would you guys do in a situation like this?
Is this the way everyone reacts after a neg?

Interesting! I don't see much of a Neg there unless it was in the way you said it, which it must have been. If you got the impression she was upset then she probably was. I would say, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cross your boundaries. I merely meant to find out where they were. Now that I know where they are I won't cross them again, I promise. Again, I apologize." Continue with whatever phase your in.
