so there's this HB who works at my uni. she's 24, i'm 21. we flirt on occasion but she's a real bad ass; shoots me down (with precision Negs and formidable wit) at any opportunity. i don't want to show that im interested in her but i think i've messed that up.
we talk every couple of days which is great but i get the feeling that she's put off by the age difference. how do i get her to 'have fun' and take that chance? i realize that she's not the only one out there but she really is a plague on my mind! absolute 10.

there are just some females out there who love getting the attention and making them selves look bigger and better by shooting down guys who show interest, dont be scared to give her some back and bring her down a peg or two, in the end HB 10 or not she is still just another female

Agreed. She starts negging you, then neg her back I do this with a fair few female friends, usually ends up in a fun battle of wit (sometimes where "loser buys drinks"). Just remember, always take it as a bit of fun and never let it get to heart.

If you think of something clever to say after you've already parted (always happens...), keep it in mind next time a similar situation comes up.

to my surprise, she just called back. i left this HB10 a message with no reply for 24hours...fair enough, she just called with an apology about her falling asleep early last night.

Problem: this girl works 6 days a week and seems totally consumed by it.

"hey grandma"
HER "hey little boy" (this needs to change)

I ask how she is, what she's doing this weekend.

HER "i dunno, maybe working..."
"well, there's a friend of mine throwing a party on sat if you wanna come."
HER "what friend? yap yap"
"there should be like 200 hundred people there and i'm not gonna know anyone" (..already know that's a mistake)
HER "i'll see."
"how's the family?"
HER "why? do you wanna meet them?"
"yeah, i guess."
HER "that means we have to get married"
"huh?"
HER "that's the custom. we have to get married before you can meet them. thats how it works in Asia. hehe"
"really? just go ahead and ask..."
HER (one of those sarcastic laughs, which seems to be her retreat. so i do it right back)
HER "think about that until i get back."
"if i have time"
HER "ok, i'll see about this weekend"
"alright, bye babe"

i realize that she dictated the pace of the conversation, but i've messed things up like this a few times and yet (by some miracle) she calls back. what now gentlemen? i need to know what my next move is because i'm pretty sure she's gonna be "busy" on Saturday.

phone her and cancel the date/meeting on saturday, say something like ur too busy or something else has come up, nefin along those lines and say u mite be free one night in the week ( say a nite weneva ur free) and ask if she wants to do something then

this is you showing you dont think she's all that if your willing to cancel on her before she cancels on you
