Not sure if this is the appropriate board for this question. If not, my bad!

So my female best friend happened to be on jury duty with this girl. According to the BFF she's exactly my type physically and personality wise. The girl had mentioned that she's dating around and my BFF told her that she'd probably get along quite nicely with me. She showed her my picture and the girl said she thought I was cute and wouldn't mind giving it a go. So they exchanged emails (why email, I don't know) and my friend suggested I write to her to set something up. Not knowing anything about this girl, how should I approach this? I'm a bit lost at this kind of thing.

Same as approaching a girl in a pub/club, but now you don't need to approach
So no AA should be involved.

1. Opener
2. Routine
3. Neg
4. Kino
5. Escalate
5. Closing (number/kiss/f)

Sorry, I meant how should I approach the email part? Short and simple? Humorous?
