University freshers openers?

New to MPUA Forum

Hi, new to the forum and wanna take my gaming to the next level.

So I was wondering at university freshers everyone wants to make new friends so talking to people should be easy but I need some help opening as I want to differentiate myself from the AFC's that will be asking the obvious "what you studying" etc.

Also if anyone has any general tips on freshers/uni gaming post here

well from my modest experience, i sat next to a girl, first thing i asked her was if she had an extra pen with a smile, then i started asking her about the prof if she likes him, hows the class so far, then i asked her what major she is in...so i ended up becoming her friend lol, she had a boyfriend, but now i think i would have been more aggressive.

Doesn't matter what you open with, "what's your major" breaks the ice, just follow up and show your personality. shits EZPZ man
