Same here in the North Texas...Major sausage fest, felt like gay at the last club I went too, all the guy were taking their shirts off when dancing....uh, no thanks bros.
It's Texas 95F/35c at night with barely any AC at these clubs, its hot in the first place on the dancefloor, and all the doors are open, so its a sweaty grindfest...kind of a challenge, sometimes I think just not smelling like a foul gym rag is an advantage, haha! I've started just telling myself to be primal. Fuck it, I am going alone, no one knows me there, let my inner beast come out...I don't care what anyone thinks of me, its about getting the ass. Dance, feel the burn of the calves from jumping, feel the sweat of drip off your brow, put your arm around the chick, tug on her fair, indicate that you are there to have a good time and FUCK. My game is much more solid at these places when I am not there with people I know, for a reason, lol!
