if you don't like what a certain commercial pua does, DO NOT USE IT. there are a 100 other ways to get good with women, and they are all very effective.

that a certain pua has managed to create a cult following does not mean that following his path will get you women. this is a common trap that many many many guys in the community fall into. they follow a self-proclaimed PUG but get no women. and they keep doing it, because they don't have the confidence to 'defy the PUG'.

me, i'd rather score with women than worship some guy.

people talk fast because they are they subconsiously think that if they speak so then people will lose interest while speaking slow protrays confidence.

presonally i speak slow and it has never had problems for me. i never stop and say ummmm.... ummmm ... errrr if i take a puase its because i am thinking and i hardly ever have ppl losing interest other than when i am chatting shit. lol so all the time

Well, as for the whole "talk like me" thing. I don't think you should take it to heart. Sure he's successful but every PUA should have his own style, not copy each others. That's what makes us unique, and keeps the world spinning. This might sound like second-grade as well but we're all different and are better off for it. Besides if we were all the same there'd be no AMOGs to laugh at while you take their girl

I kind of agree. Mystery is a business. Thus, he speaks as if hes trying to sell his lifestyle to you, as he rightly should(IMO). Though, on Neil strauss, he talks very fast in some video sessions i've seen on him. His voice crackles and he makes alot of mistakes. At the end of the day hes human, and successful with women and it was quite endearing to watch him even poke fun of his own voice. My point here is that voice shouldn't be read into so much; by definition Neil Strauss shouldn't be successful with flaws like that, but he is!

I'm amazed so many PUAs here criticized Mystery's speaking, but none of you picked up on something very obvious he is doing. HE IS USING NLP! Most of the time he uses it to get a message across (like when he explains things on YOuTube and seminars) But I think there are a few times he tries putting a different agenda forward. I'd have to go back and analyze his videos.
He is basically talking slowly because he is talking to your subconscious mind, and using small changes in his voice to send his message.

I know, I know. NLP is Ross Jefferies field. But have any of you considered that mystery uses NLP occasionally to get to where he is today? It makes sense to me.

talking the way mystery does, that is being slightly cruel, which is not actually cruel but more a kin to teasing

Tease, make them see you couldn't care much less about touching kissing groping them and they're much more likely to feel like they trust u and soon should be all over you.

info, have you ever watched ANY other reality show besides The Pick-up Artist? EACH AND EVERY HOST talks like that. They have to. I was on Next and the manager lady told the girl to speak in a clear, instructive tone. This is to maintain the audience's interest so the host's voice is noticeable even if you aren't paying direct attention to the show, and the theory is that once you notice it you'll start to watch. That's not how Mystery talks all the time, it's just reality shows.

Seriously, Mystery's tall, somewhat good looking and a smooth talker.. He could probably walk up to a strange chick and say he wants to kiss her where the sun doesn't shine, and be successful half the time.

I think he exudes confidence with the way he talks. He talks like an alpha male would talk. While you may find it irritating (perhaps he makes you feel like more of a beta than you are comfortable with?) girls eat it up, and I doubt I need to prove Mystery's success with women.

I noticed that too! It makes your speaking tone mesmerizing and hypnotizing and forces people to wait on every word.
Another cool thing I've noticed people do when I talk paced is they showed their interest through body language. If you're talking low and melodic, and they are leaned in to soak up ever damn word you speak- you know you have them. But if they are sitting back listlessly, you know that you need to up your game.

So I like the fact that Mystery is talking like he does. It makes him MYSTERIOUS!

I know from past expirience, especially in quiet alone time w/ the girl make sure you keep eye contact and do a lot of the pausing.. it has a very hypnotic effect. oh and just make sure you sound sincere and not cheesy
