Is this a good day opener: Excuse me, I saw you walking by, and I had to come tell you that you look absolutely gorgeous. I can tell you really take care of yourself.

It seems too nice and puts her up on a pedestal, but on the other hand, it could just be a simple compliment that lets me show interest in her.

What do you guys think? Do you have any better daytime openers? What are ones that you use?

I don't like saying that this is good or bad because it prevents you from trying it out and having learning experiences. The only advice that I would tell you is that if you are going to open with a compliment, don't overdo the compliment.

I have tried it on 3 girls and, honestly, all they did was smile, say thanks, and we talked for a short period of time and then that was it. It felt like maybe I should have given a neg here or there instead of giving them the feeling that they are above me simply because of their beauty.

But then again this is just how I felt. Maybe they left feeling good about themselves after a rough day and they are grateful to me for it. I just wished I knew how to keep the conversation going so that we could exchange numbers so that we can keep in touch and I can ask her to hang out later or something.

If you're just making statements without a conversation, then you should expect the results you are getting.
