I was trying to get some feed back on my message to this girl. I understand if someone doesn't respond it could be for many reasons(not necessarily to do with me)... I was working at this underground night club as a temp job in my international city. It was gay pride wknd so I used it as a opener and said " you look a girl I'd be interested in but given how gay this weekend is, you could be a katelyn Jenner" we talked for about10min. She was engaged(smiling and asking me questions. I teased her a bit as she got a job in a connected industry. I established rapport. When I asked for her number she let me know she was leaving next month. So I asked her if she was leaving me already and said I guess she'd you'll be missed. And then she said oh I mean I'll be home for a month and then will return... So I took that like she had a lot of interest given that she wanted to give me so much information.

I've had a lot of success in the past with pro sports/college, and in business but have had some major setbacks. as my city is very status concious I was more concerned with talking with her in a joking tone about work rather than tease her personally... I'm wondering if the context I met her in, fucked things up
