| Hey all, I was hoping to expand my collection of unique openers, as sometimes its more fun to do something crazy than just say 'Hi' to your target. I was browsing Youtube and came across a video of someone hooking a girl with some help from an R/C car. Typing 'geek gets girl' into youtube should find the video i was referring to.
Basically he had a camera on an R/C car and a walkie talkie too. He crashes it into her and then she starts a convo with the mystery man driving the car. I guess curiosity got the better of her, and she followed the car back to the house that he was controlling it from.
This type of opener was so unique it made me want to find more unique openers. These are some that i found, not sure where credit is due though:
1. Hangman game: the hidden word or phrase should be something that will make them smile when they guess it. e.g _ _ _ _ _ _ ?= coffee? or you could write 'I think your cute. etc.
2. Tic tac toe: draw it on a piece of paper, as well as two columns (your name in one column and 'cute girl' on the other). This will be the score section, which you can make bets with (loser buys drinks)
Both these could be used in a College or high school environment (perfect for during a boring class!)
3. Marry me: High risk, high reward situation. I have seen this work a few times, but you need balls of steel. Will work best in a low energy area but with many people (restaurant, beach, the mall). The idea is get the attention of your target, as well as everyone else in the room. Once all eyes are on you (a loud clap and 'I have an important announcement' should get them all looking), look directly into your targets eyes and ask her to marry you. Drag it out, by saying how beautiful she is, how great the time you have spent together has been, and how you want to take it one step further. Get on one knee and ask her to be your wife. Then you need to keep an absolutely straight face and don't move until you get an answer. Hold eye contact. and when she says yes, lock lips. If she says no, well, i will let you decide how to handle it.
