Ok heres what happened!

Im in a low end bar with one of my mates when a 3 set walks in and sits down.

It was time I had to do it, I sucked it in and approached the 3 set ,there was
a HB1, a HB2 in the middle and another HB1 on the other side.

I approached with

sleight : Can I get a opinion off you guys...well when you guys came in the door my friend got up and ran, I have to get him in 3 mins (time constraint)
But I need to get a present for my dog for Christmas what should I get him?

HB 1 : blah..
HB2 : bluah..
HB 1 : blah...

I lock in by squeezing past HB 1 (big girl) and am now in between her and HB2 (target)

slight: Beauty is a common thing over on that side of the room * point away from the HBs * what have yous got going for yourselves? (neg)

HBs : blah /...


Slight :* start to kino HB1 on my rights leg and I kino HB2s waist*
Anyway long story short K-close HB2 and F - close first HB1

GAME ON!!! Good job, on the close. Make sure next time you run an opinion opener you take out any kind of question starting out like "May I get...can I get...would you mind if..." What are you a bother? That's a rhetorical question.

Say, "I need your opinion on...Give me a female perspective...You got to here this..."

A better set of HB's may kill you at the opening if you say, "Can I get..." They can easily cut you off say, "No" and go back to the set.

Kudos on a good first run. I agree with Smooth, asking "can i ask you a question?" or :could i have a moment of your time" is very much AFC where as a SPAM like "I have a question for you" or "Tell me, what do you think of..." is much more alpha becasue you are taking control of the situation. But everything else was well played.
