Last night I went out with a wingman and enjoyed having girls come to us for once. We stood back at a table and just enjoyed talking to each other and looked like we were having a fun time without girls, hence they came to us. My friend is a few inches taller than me and a tad better looking so it was helpful to have him with me. We had several girls approach, and although I did catch them glancing quite a bit at my friend at first I maintained and never broke eye contact with the girls and they started talking to me first (my friend was not making eye contact with the girls so I am pretty sure thats why they started talking to me). While my friend eventually joined in on the convo, girls held eye contact with me when they were talking (I got the majority of the eye contact) but they were standing next to him and seemed to get pretty close to him, rubbing up against him quite a bit (we both noticed this). What should I make of this? I definitely started the convos but I am sure the girls were really attracted to my friend (he is a natural) so not sure if they were into me or just him. Let me know your analysis. I thought my game was definitely on.

You're analyzing to much, your friend was not thinking and enjoying himself fully, you were a bit in your head and busy comparing yourself to him, that's why he got more attention.

bingo. right off the bat, you made it obvious you have some self-confidence issues (nothing major) when you mentioned how your friends taller and whatnot. Then, you talk about him being natural. Just relax, you need to think you're the complete package and just have fun and then you'll be natural. Seriously, don't stop thinking for a second that you're the shit. Lack of inner confidence is obvious through body language, your words, etc.
