I just joined this forum as I have been half playing the game half not for a couple of months and want to focus on the development of my game a little bit more.

There were a couple of openers i wanted to run by people. One I thought of while listening to Style talk about the fact the game has made a lot of people realize when they are being gamed. Not to mention most recently the show the pickup artist.

So the tactic i thought of, and I know it has 1 potential flaw which is why I want to run it by some people is

" Hey, my friend over there was watching this show the pick up artist (or read this book the game) , and he has been begging me to try on of their tactics for opening a conversation with women since usually I'm the one who finds it easiest to approach women he asked me to do it to, and truthfully it seems silly, because i would much rather just have a conversation with someone such as yourself rather than use one of these routines. So if you could just this is where i am having trouble slap me? some form of rejection cant figuer out which would not lead to subconsciously lowering my value with them So that he would forget about this whole idea, that would be great.

The idea is this opens the conversation, disarms them, and allows you to come back and talk to them later. the Flaw would be that you are also dropping a dlv for your friend however your now seen as the most outgoing of your group as it was you who your group decided would be the most likely to both succeed with the tactic and not have approach anxiety.

Yes: Has anyone ever used something as lame as they used on the show?
So how did it make you feel when they used it?

No: It was a show about how to make a regular guy into a pick up artist. Like how to make a guy be able to meet girls. Would you rather a guy came right out in the open and tried to meet you, like offering to buy you a drink, or would you rather let things happen naturally and have a good conversation?
