You need to make eye contact back. Don't even worry about approaching yet. Make a habit of trying to attain eye contact with every attractive girl you see. No matter how bad you want to look down, hold it for at least 3 seconds.

Once you've mastered this, you can tackle the approach.

If you don't make eye contact, you will get eaten alive in a club. Practice works, trust me.

Instead of things getting easier it seems like with every IOI I receive in an interaction the pressure builds. She will stroke her hair or itch her wrists and doggy dinner bowl me and my mind is going "woah this shit is getting real and it is actually happening".

Mostly it works out but sometimes it has put me off course and I've lost the frame. I think it is a sign that our inner games still need work.

This is a inner game issue. IOI's is what most guys in the game look for when interacting with a women.

Her giving you IOI's maybe giving you a connection to the old you and your mental image of how wrong the interaction can go. It also is a confidence thing also. By not advancing based on her IOI's you are showing her you are not good enough or man enough to lead the interaction or her. Don't let IOI's have a bad connection with your past. Think of it as a new opportunity to meet a young lady. Just act. If you are getting IOI's that means most of the work is already done, its up to you to now lead.
