how does the study buddy approach work?

so when your in a classroom setting and you suggest to the girl whom your approaching with. Lets be study buddies, maybe you can help he get an A! how does that work? how does approaching in general work? do you just need to come off as happy? or a cool new guy who will be lots of fun to hangout with? or what?

not sure what you mean by happy. be funny if you can but not clownish.

can't stress this enough, keep your body language right. be alpha, don't fidget, don't smile for no reason. precise deliberate movements and so on.

lastly, best give her an excuse to justify a study date to herself. ask her to help you with something (you might already know it). make a few intelligent comments about it so that it seems you are helping each other.
take it forward from there.
