The pretty barista from Starbucks in which I have pseudo-approached several weaks ago. Just gave me her number.

I finally closed her number a while ago. Not a very clean, solid game in my opinion. But I want to know yours guys, if I may.

So, it went out like this:

-On my turn to have my order taken-

Girl: Dark Mocha? *smiling*
Me: Haha, I'll have the Peppermint Mocha Frapp this time.
Girl: -laughs- sure thing.



This time, I just made it casual and friendly. I also approached her colleagues there to befriend them. There were lots of people so I took my time to look for an opportunity to talk to her.

The time arrived, not only that, but she was just about to take her break. I don't like to assume that she was interested on me and such, but I was sitting next to the door and she was taking a glance at my direction once in a while.

By the time she went out, I just let myself take my own time to finish chomping my tuna sandwich that I ordered, from what I observed she was sitting outside the shop several meters away. I can't tell what she was doing because of my far-farsightedness.

The time to approach her came, so no more doubts, no 'this will not work' shit like that. I just went outside and did the job. But I didn't approached her straight, I went to the left side first so that she will not notice me.

So when I was near her, I just noticed that she was looking inside the shop to where I was sitting (I don't want to assume that she likes me). Then I called out her name. We chatted casually, about work, the people there and stuff like that. She made a funny remark and then laughed.

Me: Hmm, I just noticed something, can you smile again?
Girl: Why? Well okay. -smiles-
Me: You know what? People who smiled like that are outgoing people.
Girl: OMG! Wow, amazing how did you know it?
Me: -smiles-

Then the conversation went on, I ran the Cube. And she was amazed and then when the time came that she needs to go back to work I asked for her number. She gladly gave it to me, and while she was giving it, she made a statement assuming that she likes me, I dismissed it by ignoring the statement. then she introduced herself again, she got my name and we parted ways.

So what do you guys think? I haven't texted her yet. Phone gaming is now on in my opinion. I just need some feedback about what happened and tips from you guys on phone gaming. Thanks.

Not offering advice but that was nicely done. Especially as it was a first go. But surely there is no way you are a 100% introvert as you described in your last post you can't have changed that quickly.

I don't like text games text but have a friend who's great at it. I'll ask talk to him about this.

Awesome!! and then you described yourself as Mr.Bean? lol. You did great man. Personaly im not a huge fan of fone gaming before ive kiss or f-closed the target,i mainly use texting to make and confirm plans and stuff,but nevertheless if you number close you qaulify for fone game. The post above is specificly for Facebook gaming,i dont know how well it will work in text game anywho.. In my first text I normaly just say "wow.. I just made you reach for your fone.." or something along those lines. Lol theres this chick i recently #-close and texted cute as fuck.. Anyway i just went :

Thanks guys, the indirect approach to dating seems a good idea and it's funny too. What's weird is that she never send messages, maybe giving her a miss call is a good idea so that I can verify the number?. Well, I don't want to appear possessive and annoying by sending her a machine-gun of messages and stuff like that (I learn alot from my past mistakes). But if I will wait for her to text me rather than I making a move, will there be a chance that the connection will die? Just a question.

And oh yes, can someone tell me if going back to that branch of Starbucks will never hurt anyone? I like the place and I love coffee. LOL
