Indirect openers for daygame?

I understand that going direct is probably a lot better for day game but I just don't have the balls to do it yet. I usually use this opener for daygame " Hey I got to go in a sec but just out of curiousity do you think it's alright for a guy to wear coverup?". I have used it 4 times and ejected from all of them with pretty good responses. I was wondering if there are any better one's for newbies that you know about and are willing to give away, thanks.
