Let me share you a routine that worked for me the other day.

Going into an all girly store where they have gloves.

Checked out the gloves and ask a nearby girl if she could help you.
You need to buy gloves for a friend

Tell her you don't know her size but she has much the same hands/height as the target. And she should try them on for you.
Throw in a neg on her hands.
I told her my friend had better nailpolish, smiling way.
And touch her hand.

See if she complies.
Small talk if needed.
Tell her she should give you her number so you could give her some advice (on the nailpolish).

Get her number, if she asks why you don't buy the gloves, talk your way out, be a little prepared

fun tip:
let her draw a little image of herself on the back of the paper so you would remember who she was.
-> comfort time after close (not hit and run!)
