Since I got so much out of this forum I wanted to give something back. Here's an opener I at least hope I came up with. (I do this going out alone, so far opened every set):

1.) Find a homepage with a list of cheesy pickup lines.
2.) Print out a list of 100 of them
3.) The opener:
Walk up to your set (works also good on mixed sets), give your usual time constraint bla bla, and say:
I need your opinion. Next week I'm going out with a good friend of mine and on that night we're planning to address women only with bad pickup lines. Today I want to find the best 10 from this list of one hundred so it's only gonna be a minor disaster not a complete one. So you tell me a number between 1 and 100 and then you're gonna get your pickup line.

Million ways you can take it from there, usually they're already asking a lot of questions before you can even deliver your line. If you do, be sure to make it cheesy.

I like the opener because you get some compliance when she's playing along and you already DHV a little cause you need some balls to open girls with cheesy pickup lines. Plus, you disqualify yourself completely because who on earth would start a conversation with a girl he wants to hit on with: Hey, check this out, next week I'm planning to hit on a bunch of girls. Oh, and great way to kino when you deliver that line.
