As we know, lots of HBs hit the clubs and bars wearing a costume...Most of the HB8-10s go for something sexy while some with do something clever funny. What do you guys recommend? Open with a comment or neg about their costume or is that AFC and I should pretend she's not even wearing a costume and use a standard opener?

I'm still a noob and working on mid game, but...

I had tremendous luck opening indirectly by passing by and fixing a HB's costume...Most targets were wearing mini skirts and either boots or heels with laces and I'd say something as I was bending down saying "your boot is falling" "let me even out your laces" and fix it before they even have a chance to respond. In some cases their footwear was fine, but I pretend to fix whatever before she even has time to investigate. From there you have a great conversation about what her costume is or what yours is. I always negged them about their costume, after the footwear fix I'd say to a HB in a nursing outfit, "that's better, you now look like an acceptable pirate" They usually would respond something playfully like "Thanks...Pirate? I'm a nurse!" Often, the HB was proud of her costume and went into her story of how spent weeks trying to find the perfect costume. If they didn't mention that now would be a good time to ask them about the costume if that's the angle you want to take. If not, I say something about "all sexy costumes are all the same now...At least you didn't pick out that costume [point to the sluttiest costume at the place]" Every-time the HB would say something like "I know right? That's just trashy" or "she's not even pretty"...I would say something like "wouldn't it be funny if you told her to enter the costume contest and she won?"

Not sure if this can be DHV'ed up, but you should be able to open just about anyone and hold at least an one minute conversation with just what I've given you.

Good haloween opener I used with my wingman majestic walden was "hey can i get an opinion ion something whos costume is better and why" worked very well when opening on sets of two or more
