How to Approach and Open at the Gym



I assume that you hang out in gyms and personal fitness centers a lot. The HB's you will ever meet in your life are also fitness buffs who go to the gym as often as you do. The only question is how to grab their attention while they are busy working out, attending yoga or pilates, and monitoring their progress on the treadmill. .



Be a "Spot-her" Spotter. When you see a woman who's having trouble with her routine and her personal trainer is not around, be a Good Samaritan and help her out. You probably won't be welcome to hit on her while she's finishing her workout, but you will be able to introduce yourself to her in a way that isn't awkward.




Get Her Schedule. You can guess her daily exercise routine just by observing what time she's around. Now, you need to do your workout a few hours before she comes in so you can help over easily when she's taking her break. There's no use busting your own routine just to pick up girls at the gym, they'll think you're only there to hit on girls..



Small talk. At the gym, you're sure to see her again after a few days or within the week, so you can't risk hitting on her too hard that she will ignore you the next time she sees you at the gym. When you can say hello to her and expect a smiling reply, you know you?re one step closer to discussing more personal things with her. Timing is the key.



Remember that you're both in that place for one primary purpose (working out), and your interaction must just cool and easy. But don't worry if you can't seem to close the deal at once. You're going to see her again because you share the same space, which means you have plenty of time to make your move after you've started talking to her..


Based on my own personal experience i did hit a lot of girls on the gym and they don't want to be bothered while doing work out, they gave me really bad IOD (indicator of disinterest) some woman may say to me like "fuck off asshole" or "Go bother someone else" ..


This is some good ways on how to hit a woman on the gym without coming of being distracting or annoying..

I find it very hard to aproach HBs at the gym. Why ? Because there are tons of all kinds of jerks who actually DO go to the gym just to hit on girls and dude...it's painful to even watch them doing that. I mean , they suck so bad and they don't even know it. Anywayz , for this reason just because you're a male in her eyes you're 'just another one of these idiots who's trying to hit on me' before you even open you're mouth.

What I'm trying to say is that they're in a very social-agressive mood while in the gym and seeing those chumps at it it's perfectly understandable.

Anyhow , you're routines are the best there are as far as I'm concerned. I also had some "go bother someone else" lines thrown at me and I always go for something like "Wow...way to make friends. I was just being nice" turn my back and walk away. Usually in the next half an hour the girl comes to me and apologizes for acting like a bitch for some random reason and we take it from there.Some are just too frustrated to do even that tho.

It could work but it's just very...ineffective ,you know ? The upside however is that once you get passed her frustration you can build comfort waaaay easier because not only there's no competition , but the idiots there are actually helping you out by raising a VERY low standard.You basically DHV - ing out of their DLV-ing .Know what I mean ?

I know that line is retarded, but I've used it many times and the last f-close I had was with that line at my gym. I'm in my mid-twenties and in good shape. I'm not a huge muscle head, but I've got some relative size and a fit look. It seems to work because a lot of girls I say it to take it as a very innocent compliment coming from a guy that's older and seems to already know fitness and training. It only works with young chicks around the 18-21 age. Women older than that smell the cheesiness a mile away ;)

Ha! That's pretty bad, but hey, it worked right? I've been wanting to improve my gym-game, and I think that asking "what are you listening to?" seems like a decent opener. I get a bit of approach anxiety in the gym because I feel like women don't feel sexy when they're working out, and it's probably the last time they want some sweaty guy to hit on them.

Am I wrong?

Terrible to be honest, all the chumps ask that.

One of my approach lines (ok I stole it from someone don't remember where) is:

Once she's finished a set, go up to her and tell her:

Me: "Hey that looks like a good exercise, what muscles are being worked?"
HB : Bla bla bla (I don't care, not about to do woman exercises...)
Me: "Mind showing me how you do it exactly? Can I watch you do a set?"
HB: Bla bla bla
Me: "Yeah it looks like it's working [muscles] well, I just hope I won't look that silly when I do it" (Playfull tone)
HB: Hahaha
Me: "Say can I get a few minutes of your time for my last set, could you spot me, my friend isn't here today". (I usually take ridiculously low weight for a bench press and they always crack a laugh).

Then proceed from there.
