My bro got a text from this girl and hes not too sure on what to say...
Another problem is that he got her text ages ago but its been almost a week so yeah.. bit late huh?

If you can help.. id like advice on how to reply and what to reply.. its for him.

the backstory goes alittle like this..

my bro is at work and his female friend at work (also his acquaintance) who is an older woman who he works with is surprised hes single. My bro points out a girl he likes who pops into the store and now that aquintance is trying to set them up.

Obv the aquintance at his work spoke to her separately and told the girl hes a great guy etc etc. Now the girl has my bros number (off her) and texted him the following:

"sarah from your work was surprised i was single and offered to try set me up with a lovely lad called ****. haha hows you? x"

how should you reply to this?

As his bro id either reply something basic or something like:
"sarah was surprised i was single too. a lovely lad called ****? she just had to give me a 'fancy' label lol. im good thnx, you?"

But yeah its coming up with ideas.. maybe its better just to reply short and be casual while asking Qs.

casual reply would just work fine. Just remember to add one of these lines at the end of your text, "you wouldn't believe what just happened"
or
"you know what just happened?"
and then get a fun short story ready(humous is the key) if you dnt have a fun story, use a fun routine"
the goal is to get her emotionally hooked immediately. And then take the interaction forward from there.
