Proximity alert...if you haven't noticed, quality women dancing together always get surrounded by AFC looking at them, like if they were waiting in line or something (That is how AFC's Proximity Alert...don't do that). If your in that situation don't join the AFC circle approach or move to a next set.

On the other hand Quality and energetic man (always smiling) dancing on the dance floor get surrounded with women but instead of looking straight at us, they will be putting their back to us (maybe playing with their hair). That is how Women proximity Alert. Men do it more consciously, for women it's more of an uncounscious move....but still they just wish the quality men would approach them.

To conclude, Proximity alert is indeed the best cue you can have in a night club or in any social situation!

Well said.. and it's also a great way to demonstrate value. When 3 girls get surrounded by AFC's who look needy and show interests right away.. they get bored with the same usual pattern those guys all use: stare (like a stalker), dancing awkawrdly near them and sometimes being just really aggressive towards them. Instead, when they look at their left, they see you with your wingman.. two well dressed looking guys who smile and have energy.. who are not approaching them. So in their head, they will say to themselves something like: "Why the hell isn't those guys approaching us? Why losers always come to us? Am I not attractive to him? " And they will become "jealous" (women are the most jealous creatures on this planet) of the fact that two guys who are high valued males aren't showing interest in them. And then.. you can easily see Proximity taking place. One of her will be giving eye contact and few seconds later.. Boom.. she comes near you with her back completely faced towards you and her friends checking you out. That's why, as T_Rex said, you should not approach in clubs like any guy/AFC.. PUA's are exception of the rule.. Proximity gives you this non-verbal cue of going in and you have really nothing to worry about. She will not reject you!

I love to dance and play pool. So when I'm at the bar I dance every time I make a shot. I actually get really loud on every shot but its almost like announcing that I am there with the excuse of playing pool as a reason to be loud. Now I seem to have a problem approaching women (which I'm currently working on) but I manage to work my way around utilizing proximity. The second there is a hot girl around the table, I'm all over her. I usually tell her that she's in the way but offer her a chance to play doubles next game. Or if I'm at a dance club, and a girl is all proximity, I simply get her attention by saying something like " Pardon me" and when she looks I hold out my arm bent at the elbow, as if commanding her to put her arm in mine, and take her to the dancefloor. This rarely ever fails so I never cared much about my AA. The biggest drawback though is I'm relying on girls being interested first and I'm not choosing them. Of course I don't do this to all girls but getting my AA under control will give me a "larger selection" so to say. Finally, There gave been a few times where girls were forced to be around me because of how small the venue is and aren't really giving off proximity alerts. Now when this happens and they don't want to talk, I always say "Its cool, you were just hovering around me so I thought I'd say hi". They always laugh and even if I don't chat it up with them, its never a negative vibe.
