i agree with the participating in class part. bad idea to talk too much in class. i think that opening though gives too much opportunity to get a laugh and nothing else. i would personally stick with something that gets them talking. i'd hate to say it, but opinion openers relevant to the situation seem best for a classroom.

It's really that simple.

If you are really having that much trouble take a class that involves a lot of interaction like a language class. I am taking Japanese and Spanish and have already met most of the people. This is because you are forced to interact with them.

definatly do what he is suggesting. but don't take japanese. do a language that more attractive women are bound to take. even if not attractive women where more guys that actually go out to bars/clubs are likely to be that you could sarge with.

i tried japanese, and my class was had 2 women, both butch lesbians (i have nothing against lesbians), and with the exception of one of the lesbians, all were house shutins.

I am not suggesting he takes Japanese. That sucks about your situation with that class because my Japanse class is full of Korean girls, so I am gold on that because they enjoy something different. But then again, I didnt take the class to meet girls, and Italian, French and Spanish are the romance languages...

Haha, they are actually the Romance Languages, named so because they all stemmed from Rome and the Latin language. French is the best to pick up girls, in my opinion, since more girls take it because of it's reputation. Sort of like the classic cooking course example.

Indeed they did stem from Latin roots which is why they are so similar. But one can't deny the fluidity of those languages compaired to more nasal languages ie asian languages. I personally think Brazilian portuegese is the most romantic. You learn something new everyday.
