I bartend and one of our beer distributors comes in every Tuesday. She is a 9 and usually shows up when we are busy with our lunch crowd. I have only introduced myself and made fleeting small talk with her as she is usually leaving before I knew she was even in the building. On a positive note, she will always make eye contact with me and wish me a good day as she is headed out.

My question is what approach should I take since time is extremely limited (we are both busy people) and one of my canned openers wouldln't seem very organic at this stage.

How well do you know her? Do you neg her at all. Obviously she isnt in a position to naturally feel threatened by you since you're both working when you see each other. Think of some playful ways to tease her whenever possible; be relentless. I always find in a work setting when you dont have the time, or it wouldnt be appropriate to fully sarge, use styles push-pull technique. Neg her until she seems a little offended or embarrassed, then give her a compliment...but in a tone that a brother would give his little sister. If shes interested at all she'll start to spend a little more time near you just trying to figure your intentions out...thats when you need to be ready with your demonstrations of higher value.
