why would she even answer you if you opened with "hi" or "what you reading?" a shb or 8/9/10 might just pop her bitch shield up and shoot your ass down. You need to demonstrate highervalue after opening and not jump through her hoops when she asks to keep an eye on her stuff.

Ok, i have successfully opened, spoken to her a few time...around a minute or so each time (other than the first approach, which lasted for about 5 minutes)...lol....just simple chats. The weird thing is that she asked me more questions than i ask her. (too bad I did use the "interview" neg, didn't thought about it until after the conversation).

Unfortunately, i didn't number close. I may do so next week I guess. I really don't know how to build rapport at this point, i don't know how to make her "like" me, or even what to chat about. Oh by the way, this is a university library, not a public library, and she is not a teenager. I really don't know how to classify her.. She is more so cute than hot....I guess sort of like how you would classic that self healing chick from "heros". Cute but not hot. On cuteness scale, she would be about 7 or 8...

The worst is that I haven't had the guts to ask her for her name yet.

ok well this sounds like a sticking point so you should think of asking questions there instead of here..
