When I first started working on my game I got a lot of suggestions from people of character to just open anyone and everyone. This forced me to come up with openers that I'd use on ugly chicks and dudes.

Strangely enough, I think these are still the best openers. Just random topics of discussion because in asking them you telegraph ZERO interest. They're things you'd talk to or ask anyone about.

Its not failure, its a learning challenge.

We use canned openers because its easy to transition into any routine or gambit with them. But by definition an opener its just a way of starting a conversation, so anything can work as an opener. However, in clubs canned openers work better, the topics are more conversation inductive, and more likely to draw attention.

He means that openers devised for ugly girls work well for hot girls because the things he would open with on an ugly girl are average and therefore show little interest. This in turn works well on a hot girl because it's treating her like any other girl, which is the exception since most AFC's will put her on a pedestal.

hey just use 2 openers when your starting, i did my first sarge today ever and opened 7 sets (finally worked up the guts to open) and let me tell you opening HB6-9's was easy as hell, i almost couldn't believe how easy opening is

anyways the 2 openers i used was

"hey do you think i look like johnny depp?" been called sweeny todd, and was told i looked like him so i tried this opener i made up

and a regular opener i stole "Hey i was thinking of cutting/dying my hair, do you think i should get my hair dyed blonde or highlights?"

just remember don't spend time thinking just open any set of chicks you see right when you enter the venue

The whole not thinking about things is a god thing to do. As soon as you enter a room just do it. That way it does not give your mind a chance to back out. Remember the 3 second rule.

I found some recent success this past weekend going out to the bar and opening on 3 girls. There was a HB 8 with two HB6 friends and i wanted to try and talk to the HB 8 .
I walked over to the three of them and just asked "excuse me girls but i need a females perspective on something and was wondering if you all could help me out" . They agreed and then i moved straight to my question saying "okay this girl i just broke up with about 3 weeks ago after dating for over a year is here and she is all over one of my friends, and i dont know if i should talk to him or her or what to do because this is just getting to me".
The HB 8 told me to just make her jealous , but i said because i was in a relationship i didnt know how to make a girl really jealous. Finally she just said "well i think i could help you with that, come dance with me"
so i danced with the 3 of them and the HB 8 blonde was all over me, and held my hand for most of the night and at the end of the night gave me her number .

Reason im sharing this is to show you just got to be creative with your openings, this was my first actual field test with this and it was a complete success in my opinion. hope it somewhat helps

I forgot to mention that she did ask who was my ex and i just pointed to a hot girl across the bar talking to a guy/getting close to the guy. worked out for me overall.

The OP is extremely right on this.. how many times has a 9 or 10 been hit on during the night. She has prob heared the same useless openers all night. So talk about something or say something that you usually wouldnt say.

I dont have any good examples but bring up something out of the blue.
