Today was my second day at a new job at a shoe store. One of the co-workers (a chick, obviously) walks in for her shift and right off the bat I got these *massive* AIs.
When we started talking, I got a *shitload* of IOIs, I DHVed, did some C&F sprinkled with a touch of push and pull.
At the end of it all, the manager had to separate us, it was great!
At one point I was walking down one of the aisles and I played in her hair, as if she was a little girl or something. She teased me:
-"You know you shouldn't play in girls' hair!"

This is where I feel that I might have screwed up. Tell me what you think of my response. I said:
-"Yeah.. but I always play with girls' hair!"
At the moment I thought "Ahh shit! I shouldn't have said that! Now I actually sound like I just told her I'm a player!"
Maybe I could have done better if I would have added something to make me sound more innocent. Something like "I always used to cause fights in the sandbox!". But anyways.. I figured that I had just given her a good solid IOI (almost worth a SOI) plus I got some kino in there!
(I had to reprogram my mind to do/accept kino so, for me, kino is always progress!)

However after that she seemed to no longer want to tease me, or talk with me. All the IOIs dropped dead. Another co-worker came in for her shift, and the girl really didn't say anything else to me.
From that point on I just figured that I gave her a major pull, so I'll have to deliver a big push. That didn't work, so I feel like it might be game over.

Any thoughts?

i would agree, you answered your own question... there is a multitude of difference answers that would have worked, but live and learn.

and i think that may have given her time to realize that she was getting a little close to a co-worker which she might not want, since the whole working together thing might make it weird if anything happened

or maybe the manager came up to her and told her off or something.... you gotta remeber she is a person full of memorys and such forth so you saying you were a player could have triggered bad dating exp or something to that extent. Also you gotta watch how you said things- not implying you said it like a caveman but she could have gotten a wrong signal.... but other than that idk what to really say playa playa expect play on lol keep yo ladies close but keep your game even closer lol... idk made it up

Women are perfectly clear when they lose all interest. They will do everything they can conceive of to convince you that they are not interested in you. The "player" line probably killed it for you. The special connection she shared with you, now seems like game that you've run in every show store in the mall. It happens, it's over. We all blow sets from time to time.

Awesome! Thanks guys! It feels good to know that blowing sets doesn't hurt as I once thought it might! I think it was the 'player vibe' that made her stop talking to me. My (female) friend said that it sounded very sexual.. o_O
As for her tone of voice, it was definetly playful! I'm a gentle guy when it comes to hair; you don't want to pull it, just play in it lol!
